Dr Leo Kim, FRACS(Plast), MS(Plast), MBBS(Hons), is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a former postgraduate fellow of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, The Burns Unit.
International experiences include Preceptorship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Institute of Reconstructive Surgery in New York, exchange scholar to Cornell University at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Asan Medical Centre in Seoul, South Korea.
He has completed Master of Surgery in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Sydney with the John Brooke Moore Surgery scholarship and was awarded the John Lowenthal Society Medal for his research in Paediatric Burns Surgery, as well as lecturing at The University of New South Wales.
Dr Burcu Kim (MBBS) is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and is fully trained in all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. Dr Burcu Kim graduated from medical school at the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree and obtained her Master of Public Health from the University of New South Wales.
Before her specialist training, Dr Burcu Kim researched in dermatology at The Skin Hospital in Darlinghurst and Westmead. Dr Burcu Kim participated in several clinical trials including biologic agents for psoriasis, novel agents for skin cancer management, and scar outcomes.
Dr Burcu Kim is a conjoint Clinical Lecturer at The University of New South Wales.
Specialist Dermatologist and Mohs Surgery Specialist
Dr Matthew Lin is a dermatologist specialising in skin cancer management and Mohs surgery. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr Lin completed fellowship training in Mohs surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York where he was appointed to the hospital faculty. While working in New York, he performed a high volume of complex procedures, working with world authorities in Mohs surgery.
Dr Lin is actively involved in clinical and translational research and has received multiple grants for his academic work. His current research is focused on improving the patient experience with Mohs surgery. Dr Lin currently supervises training doctors at The Skin Hospital and The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He is a Clinical Lecturer at The University of Sydney.
Dr Maryam Seyedabadi is a female Specialist Plastic Surgeon based in Sydney. Dr Seyedabadi is one of very few dually qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeons who has completed both medical and dental degrees from the University of Sydney. She completed her Plastic Surgery training in Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
During her training, she completed multiple terms in areas of paediatrics (in both Sydney and Brisbane), hand surgery as well as skin cancer treatment and reconstructive procedures.
Upon completion of her training, she completed further post-fellowship subspecialty training in aesthetic surgery endorsed by the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. She is committed to ongoing education and research and holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney.
Dr Artiene Tatian is a specialist dermatologist with extensive experience in adult and paediatric, medical and surgical dermatology.
He obtained his specialist qualification from the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) and is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (FRACI). Artiene holds several prestigious specialist dermatologist positions at tertiary teaching hospitals including Sydney Children’s, Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals.
Dr Artiene Tatian has an interest in eczema, acne, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis and laser dermatology. He also has a keen interest in the surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers including the role of dermoscopy to increase early and accurate diagnosis.

Dr Adam Harris
MBChB, MMed, FACD
Dr Adam Harris is a Specialist Dermatologist, Mohs Surgery Specialist and fellow of the Australasian College of
Dermatologists.
His special interests include skin checks and the surgical management of skin cancers. He is a qualified Mohs surgery specialist.
Dr Harris gained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of
Otago in 2010. He completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Dermatology at St George
Hospital and was awarded the Master of Medicine degree from the University of New South
Wales for his thesis on epidermolysis bullosa and surgery. Dr Harris completed his specialist
dermatology training at the John Hunter Hospital, Concord Hospital and in Griffith, Albury
and Port Macquarie.
Dr Harris is a Visiting Medical Officer at Prince of Wales Hospital and regularly does an
outreach clinic in Walgett, New South Wales.
In addition to our team, Dr Erin Mullan is a Canadian Dermatologist who is now migrated permanently to Australia. Dr Mullan did her Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University in Montreal Quebec, Canada. She did her Medical Degree at Dalhousie University then went back to McGill University to do her Dermatology training. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Dermatology and she is also certified by the American Board of Dermatologists. Dr Mullan was invited to join the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2016 after completing a fellowship at The Skin Hospital in Westmead.
Dr Mullan is a general dermatologist. She is particularly interested in the management of acne and skin cancers. With a patient-centric approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality and personalized care to each individual she treats.
